Hire The Best Cleaners For Your Companies Cleaning NEEDS!
Here at Cleaning Time in Coventry, we absolutely love leather upholstery!
Why you may ask, the answer is simple. Leather repels spills better than any fabric material. As well as being much easier to clean and maintain. We invest in leather furnishings for our company, to provide a comfortable yet luxurious feel to the room.
Problematic spots on your leather sofa or office chair, generally can be successfully removed with a quick swipe or blot. However, sometimes the spots, staining or damage may require a professional clean and restore.
Therefore protect your investment with thorough, structured and care cleaning maintenance. Give your leather a better chance in life. In return it will live longer.
Leather’s Repelling Quality’s:
When spills are blotted up immediately, then Leather can repel just about every stain. The majority those of which remain, will most probably disappear over time.
However, Leather does absorb oils that are damaging.
Oils, perspiration and acids, that are found on every human body. These become embedded in the Leathers pores, and build-up over time. These oils can cause serious damage to your furniture.
Store Bought Cleaning Products:
A lot of the leather cleaning solutions that you can purchase in store, will not keep your leather supple.
Your leather furniture will experience problems such as; dryness and cracking, without the correct moisture.
Leather not only needs cleaning, but also conditioning, polishing and protecting.

Dry Soil Removal:
Many of our clients are surprised by this step, but it enables us to clean both the leather and fabric upholstery parts of the furniture item.
We will efficiently and thoroughly remove any dry soil using an industrial vacuum cleaner. This vacuum is extremely powerful, and will also remove any dust in the stitching in the furniture.
If dry soil is left before the wet cleaning starts the soil will turn moist and ruin the effects of the clean.
Agitation:
Proceeding by applying a suitable leather detergent. Then using a soft sponge we gently agitate the cleaning product. We will clean deep within the leathers grain, restoring the natural texture and colour.
This step is vital in the leather cleaning process, due to the fact it removes any remaining soil and grease that has embedded itself, and is now adhered to the leathers surface.
Rinsing:
To remove the slurry (waste and dirt mixed together), as well as any last traces of soil and grease, we will thoroughly rinse the leather.
This step will also prepare the leathers surface, making it ready for conditioning and finishing. Which in tern will ensure the longevity of the cleanliness of your leather furnishing.
Conditioning and Finishing the Leather:
We proceed by applying a leather conditioner and finishing agent, whilst the leather is prepped and ready from the rinsing step. Again by gentle agitating the solution, but this time with a soft cloth instead of sponge.
The finishing agent will penetrate deep into the leathers pores. This provides not only the conditioning effect, but also locks away moisture. This ensures a long lasting supple feel.
Leather Polishing:
After we have allowed the leather to dry for a short period, the next step is to polish the leathers surface. Using a white soft cotton towel, we polish the surface to leave a long lasting, lustrous shine.
Stain Protector 100% Recommended:
We can also apply a protection service for your leather. This product will help maintain the moisture balance in your Leather. As well as strengthens the resistance qualities, against the effect of daily spills and soiling. It also ensures a long lasting and supple feel.
